great granny fanny linder turned 100 on august 20, 2008
we've been anticipating my grandmother's 100th birthday for the past few years, and here it was. i flew in to jfk for a little birthday party at the hebrew home for the aged, wondering how it would all come together. we ushered her into a new century with as much gusto as could be mustered at lunchtime in a nursing home (turns out quite a bit). here's a toast to longevity, and here are two more...
